The Swedish composer Ulf Puhls, aka Enoen, now living in Karlstad, has been writing music since childhood. In his family home he had access to several different instruments. An accordion and a piano were his first challenges to learn to understand, which also became the instruments he wrote his first melodies on.

 

At the age of 11, he got an electric guitar and began writing lyrics for his songs. He made his first recordings on a cassette deck. In his early teens, he started a synth band, which successfully found its way through the Värmland countryside and local radio (Swedish P4).

 

In the early 90s, he started composing for film and visual media. For a number of years, his music appeared in various media productions, both major televisions and commercial channels.

 

After a long period of working with various music- and artist projects, as well as periods of silence, he started to channel his music into a few aliases. Each individual alias has its own loving environment to express. One of them is Enoen, who explores the simple piano pieces and the grand and expressive symphonies, often connected to the cinematic and epic scenes. He also makes long excursions and journeys within the universe of electronic music through Captain Blackbeard's voyages. Some of his works are released as albums, especially when the piano tells the story or when the electronic melodies needs to be shared with the present.

The first expected release, titled Poems, will be a piano album, where the simple and clear melodies are the mediators of the production.
